The role of an Owner’s Rep is to act as an independent advocate of the Owner to bridge the technical and commercial gaps between the Owner’s team and the general contractor for capital projects.

 

The Owner's Rep plays a critical role by proactively overseeing the overall project and focusing in potential risks and opportunities to avoid design errors, keep the project on schedule, and minimize Owner’s contingency expenditures.  

UTILITY
CONNECTION

DEVELOPMENT

  • Represent industrial clients to energize their facilities promptly.

  • Work with Regulated Electrical Utilities, Electric Co-Ops, Retail Electricity Providers, and Transmission & Delivery Utilities to energize sites.

  • Engagement with utilities to understand their requirements.

  • Expedite processes & schedules through in-depth understanding of utility processes.

DESIGN

  • Work with utilities to design Distribution overhead and underground routes that are effective solutions for both our clients and the utility.

  • Site walk-down to ensure accurate and up-to-date information of the area surrounding the site.

  • Generate KMZ & CAD files with overhead routes and site layouts for simple communication.

CONSTRUCTION

  • Owner's Rep to monitor the construction process.

  • Develop and maintain energization project schedule.

  • Anticipate potential project schedule risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
