We Add Value

At Think Forward Power, we work with new project developers, operating facilities, and private equity and debt, to provide high value technical solutions to all their power needs.

We work closely with clients to understand their needs and requirements to find practical, high-value solutions. Key ways in which we add value include:

•    Expediting utility connection timelines
•    Anticipating potential project opportunities and risks.
•    Bridging the technical gaps between the Owner’s team, Utilities, and General Contractor (EPC)

What Drives Us

We are motivated by challenging technical projects in which we can add significant value to our client’s business case. Our strength is anticipating potential construction or operation costly and lengthy hurdles and working with our clients to mitigate these risks & keep projects on track. Fast-tracked 7.5 MW Energization

We helped our client to reduce the energization timeline from 36 months to 12 months for a 7.5MW new site construction. Key actions included: proactively engaging the utility, mobile substation rental, and installation of temporary secondary meter (CTs & PTs). This approach provided reliable grid power to the client, while the permanent substation was built. We also avoided the use of costly diesel gensets.

FAT & On-site Testing Witness

As Owner’s Representative, we work with OEMs and contractors to ensure our client’s equipment is adequately tested and validated. During the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and on-site commissioning & testing of a 10 MVA transformer, we identified issues with the testing plan before work began. We ensured OEM compliance through proactive oversight, protecting the client's warranty and eliminating financial and operational risk.
